1. Implants - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
They are also not terribly common to get on agent missions. Hence, implants are quite valuable. Basic (+3) implants sell for a great deal of money on escrow, 20-50 mil depending on the type. I do believe you can find Limited (+1) implants as loot...

3. About trajectory Analasys - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
The previous post is sorta right... Optimum range is the farthest range at which you can achieve 100% accuracy. Your actual accuracy up to this range only depends on your turret's tracking abilities. At a range of optimum + falloff, your maximum ...

5. Hit chance percentile calculations, they changed recently? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Well, I didn't figure it out to be honest, it was someone else. However to get what you want, here's how it works. When the ratio of a turret's tracking speed to the target's angular velocity is equal to 1, then accuracy is 50%, so we have Track...

You've come to the right place. The formula you have there is a correct formula, just not for what you want. There's some modification needed. It's not extremely intuitive, unfortunately. The final formula comes out to be this: Accuracy = 0.5 ^ ...

Edited by: Marcus Soban on 30/08/2004 06:17:46 For long range, tracking comps and enhancers are a waste, you shouldn't have a problem hitting targets at long range using rails. If you're gonna plug AM ammo in rails, then it could be useful, bu...

The forumula for lock time is this: 10000/(Target Sig Radius)/arcsinh(scan res) It's a wierd formula but there you have it.
